NHA Spring Vacation Days Open to Community
NANTUCKET, MA – Looking for something to do with the kids during April school vacation week? The Nantucket Historical Association (NHA) invites children (ages 3-11) and their caretakers to our Spring Vacation Days, a free program full of crafts and activities for the whole family. This program is offered daily from Monday, April 15 – Friday, April 19, 2013, 1:00 – 5:00 PM at the NHA Whaling Museum, Discovery Room at 13 Broad Street.
Spring Vacation Days feature afternoon activities that explore the history of Nantucket in fun and creative ways. Join the fun as the Discovery Room catches spring fever, with a different theme and corresponding take-home crafts daily, such as daffodils, bicycles, piping plovers, striper bass and osprey. This program is made possible by a generous grant from the Nantucket Golf Club Foundation and Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Bank Charitable Foundation Trust.
Spring Vacation Days is free for all children and their families. Children must be accompanied by an adult. For more information, go to www.nha.org, or call508-228-1894.
